Fraud Monitoring ProcessChargeback fees occur when a customer disputes a charge on their credit card statement. Excessive chargebacks may result in additional fees, penalties, or fines. The card networks may also place additional controls or restrictions as part of their own monitoring programs for merchants with excessive chargebacks. SALT has developed policies and procedures to work with the merchant to monitor and manage fraud and reduce chargebacks. SALT has developed its own comprehensive Know Your Customer process and risk monitoring program to ensure compliance with the laws, regulations, card networks and bank affiliate’s policies and procedures. Upon onboarding with us, we can share our compliance, fraud and risk monitoring best practices to help you in your fraud and chargeback management process. Contact us for details.

How does Silent Redirect work?
- When a customer clicks payment when they are checking out. A payment form is presented for standard card information. Upon filling in the form and making payment, customer and card information is encrypted and sent directly to SALT.
- Payment information is stored and tokenized for the merchant, for future reference.
- The token is passed through to the merchant, which references encrypted transaction information. Through the SALT web based reporting tool, the merchant can now reference this tokenized payment session.
- The approved transaction response is passed through to the customer validating the purchase.
